How to install

  1. Plug the board into this computer with a USB-C data cable.
  2. Click Install valumi and choose the board's port (USB JTAG/serial debug unit).
  3. Wait about a minute until it says it's done.

No port listed? Try another cable (many only carry power), or hold the board's BOOT button while plugging it in.

Then

  1. The ticker shows a QR code for its own Wi-Fi hotspot, VALUMI-XXXX. Scan it with your phone.
  2. Tap Sign in to network when your phone offers it, or turn mobile data off and open http://4.3.2.1.
  3. Add your Wi-Fi network. The ticker joins it and shows its address and panel password.

Already running valumi? Update from the ticker's own panel instead (Device → Firmware update) with the file from Releases: that keeps your settings. Installing here starts fresh.
